I'd like to dedicate today's issue to my grandmother who passed away late last week. She lived to the wise age of 92 and was surrounded by people who loved her. We should all live as well. One of my grama's loves was gardening so I'm happy discuss it with you today.

How To Grow Rich Fast (3 Lessons from Mom's Garden)
My 72 year old mom, like her mom, loves growing roses. She waters, nurtures and even talks to her flowers. I dare say she gives them love. You might be asking... what's this got to do with success? Quite a bit actually. Success must also be watered, nurtured and given love. And just as mom talks to her flowers, you must talk yourself into achieving daily success. Too often people beat themselves up mentally. In the long run it only hurts them. It's the opposite of using the third step to riches: Autosuggestion.
Lesson Number One: Success Must Be Nurtured
The Roses Will Be Dead By Noon
Early one morning my mom was delighted because three fragrant, bright red roses had grown on her rose bush. She quickly called her sister and asked her rush over to see them. There was a rush because by the afternoon all the roses would be dead. You see, my mom lives in the Mojave desert. The sweltering heat kills roses by early afternoon.
So, as you can imagine, the Mojave desert is a bad environment for growing roses. The desert not only makes it tough to grow roses but when you do successfully grow roses the environment kills them. The wrong environment can also kill your success. The wrong environment can make you do twice the work for half the result. And when you do have success the wrong environment can kill it.
Lesson Number Two: Create An Environment That Makes It Easy To Succeed

Unless you cut-off a dead rose a new rose will not grow
My mom also told me that she has to remove the dead roses from that branch or a new rose will not grow on that branch again. I was so surprised by this that I googled it and discovered that unless you cut off the dead roses they will take energy that the plant would otherwise use for flower production. Isn't it the same way with bad thoughts and negative emotions? Unless you remove them they can give birth to more bad thoughts and negative emotions.

"Positive and negative emotions cannot occupy the mind at the same time. One or the other must dominate. It is your responsibility to make sure that positive emotions constitute the dominating influence of your mind. Here the law of HABIT will come to your aid.
